IT STARTED
ON A RUN
Liv Labs was founded by Carly Price after the birth of her second child brought her to the realization that pelvic floor fitness would become a lifelong pursuit.

Carly is an award-winning designer of dozens of commercially successful consumer products and holds over 41 issued patents. She founded Liv Labs to commercialize an invention, inspired by her own post-partum experience, an experience shared by millions of other women worldwide.

Carly lost significant pelvic floor strength after childbirth, causing her worry and disrupting her love of running.

When she asked her doctor and midwife how to address the issue, she was advised to do kegels, which she found challenging to do correctly. At the time, pelvic floor physical therapy was inaccessible and not covered by her insurance.

After years of seeking an easy and affordable solution that fit into her lifestyle, she set out to create one.

Carly’s personal experience inspired her to invent the Pippa® Resistance Spring, a pelvic floor fitness booster worn internally to increase pelvic floor activation when it matters most.
